48th Annual People's Choice Awards Nominations

The 48th annual People's Choice Awards nominations have been announced. Nominees span forty categories for film, television, music, and popular culture. Top nominees for People of Color-related films were Nope with six nominations. Marry Me and Black Adam both received three nominations. Top nominees for People of Color-related television were the comedy series Abbott Elementary and drama series This Is Us with four nominations, and the comedy series Never Have I Ever and docusoap The Real Housewives of Atlanta with three nominations.
Among the nominees, four stand out due to receiving multiple nominations. Dwayne Johnson received a film acting nomination for Black Adam and one TV acting nomination for Young Rock. Daniel Kaluuya got two acting nominations for Nope, Quinta Brunson got two TV acting nominations for Abbott Elementary, and Maitreyi Ramakrishnan got two TV acting nominations for Never Have I Ever.
The People's Choice Awards is an American awards show, which recognizes people in entertainment, voted online by the public and fans. The ceremony will be held on December 6, 2022, at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California. It will be hosted for a second consecutive year by Kenan Thompson and broadcast live simultaneously on NBC and E!. People can vote for nominees on The People’s Choice website.
