Indie Content Creators: Lovely Is The Tea And The Topic Makes It Sweet

Commentary seems to be the popular trend ever since it was established that staying home would be the new going out. If you are into gatherings to sip some piping hot tea, Lovelyti just might be the channel for you.

Often at times we might associate the term “spill the tea” as some gossip that we might have in terms of another person or a “juicy bit” of an experience that person went through whether it was passed on by a friend, a family member or someone willing to share the gossip, but make no mistake with this YouTube channel that started in December of 2016.

Lovelyti provides an open platform to have a conversation on a wide variety of topics that range from celebrity gossip to hardcore news that turns viral or starts to trend on social media. Our main host provides constant commentary on the chosen topic supported by facts and in some cases showing both sides of the story. After firmly providing her opinion, she leaves it open to her followers to add on with comments so they can get the discussion going.

Her videos make our host more approachable and inviting with a simple background or her bedroom, in her latest videos, her microphone, computer and a mix of audio, GIFS or even videos recorded from her TV that contribute to the topic that is being discussed. She is unapologetic for who she is, and states so in each description of her pages in social media, which brings a sense of how being confident and using the resources that you have and how, most times, sticking to it can keep your audiences engaged while attracting new members to your community.

This last topic brings me to another side of Lovelyti that may have viewers engaged on her channel as well. She has been established as an entrepreneur with side products and merchandise that tie up with her content and speak to her audience in the right way. She is the owner of ‘Dope Beauty’, a new line of hair and skin products aimed to spread awareness of the CBD Hemp extract to minority communities, and “Lovely Tea”, a line of teas that range from wellness to skin, beauty and hair care, that has become a best seller in Amazon.

Both of these creations stem from her curiosity to make products from scratch in her kitchen that would benefit her hair and skin due to her not being content with widely known brands, which marked her start in the YouTube community.
