Ratings Report: Ambitions Returns

Network: Over on CBS, Bob Hearts Abishola is coming off at slight uptick in viewership. October 28th’s episode had an 8.35 percent uptick ending with 5.708 million viewers. The most recent episode had a very small decrease of 1.54 percent. The episode had 5.620 million viewers. October 28th’s episode of All Rise suffered a 17.53 percent loss, leaving the episode with 4.487 million viewers. The following episode had an increase of 13.91 percent. The episode had 5.111 million viewers. Lastly, October 27th’s episode of God Friended Me had a small 0.72 percent decrease in viewership ending with 6.211 million viewers. The following episode had 6.485 million viewers which is a 4.41 percent increase from the prior episode. 

Cable: OWN’s Greenleaf has suffered very minor decreases since its significant 23.74 percent uptick on October 22nd. October 29th’s episode had a 1.09 percent decrease ending with 1.093 million viewers. The most recent episode had an 8.33 percent decrease ending with a total of  1.002 million viewers. HBO’s long-awaited adaptation of Watchmen has been receiving rave reviews, but its overall viewership has slightly decreased as it moves into its 4th episode. The first episode opened to a strong 799,000 viewers. The following episode suffered a 4.26 percent decrease in viewership ending with 765,000 viewers. The most recent episode had 648,000 viewers which accounts for a 15.29 percent decrease. Lastly, be sure to catch the mid-season return of OWN’s Ambitions. Arriving from an explosive cliffhanger, fans of the show should not miss the steamy return on November 10th.

International: This week in Korean Television ratings has KBS2’s When The Camellia Blooms on top with the highest percentage of viewers at 16.2 percent. The Terrestrial TV (KBS2, MBC, SBS) ratings are as follows: When The Camellia Blooms-16.2%, Vagabond-11.6%, Never Twice-7.8%, VIP-6.7%, The Tale Of Nokdu-6.4%, Secret Boutique-3.6%, Extraordinary You-3.2%. The cable tv (JTBC,OCN, tvN) tv ratings are as follows: My Country: The New Age-4.7%, Catch The Ghost-3.2%, Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency-3.1%, Miss Lee-2.8%, Pegasus Market-2.5%, Melting Me Softly-1.5%, The Lies Within-1.2%, The Running Mates: Human Rights-1.o%. 

Streaming: Amazon’s Modern Love has found its way into critics and audiences’ hearts with its endearing sensibilities and fresh perspective on love’s complexities. The show benefits from the popular source material along with great casting that is sure to bring awards season contenders.
