Hard Numbers: ‘ABC News Nightline’ saw an all time low of viewership; Fox’s ‘Outnumbered’ continues to have high viewership

Cable News Networks: CNN, the 15th most popular cable channel, peaked at 1.581 million average viewers on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. CNBC dropped to the 58th most popular channel and peaked at primetime on Sunday, March 9, 2025; the channel averaged 140,000 viewers.

Fox Business Network, the 55th most popular channel in March, peaked on Sunday, March 9, 2025, with 133,000 viewers. Fox News Channel dropped to the third most watched channel but saw a substantial average audience on Sunday, March 4, 2025, with 8.882 million viewers.

Newsmax TV dropped in ranking to the 24th most popular channel and peaked at 382,000 viewers on Sunday, March 9, 2025. NewsNation ranked as the 61st most-viewed channel and averaged 90,000 viewers on Sunday, March 23, 2025. MSNBC dropped to the seventh most popular show and fluctuated in views week to week, having a high of 1.865 million on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, and a low on Sunday, March 23, 2025, with 353,000 viewers.

NBC News Daily reached an average viewership of 1.083 million viewers on February 23, 2025. Entertainment Tonight peaked at 3.100 million viewers on Sunday, March 9, 2025. Good Morning America saw a drop in viewership, seeing 2.694 million people watch the program on Monday, March 31, 2025. 

NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt decreased its viewership, averaging 5.862 million viewers on Sunday, March 30, 2025. The Today Show peaked at 2.725 million on Sunday, March 2, 2025.

Dateline NBC saw an increase in viewership from last month, increasing to 2.692 million viewers on Friday, March 7, 2025. Meet the Press with Kristen Walker ended the month with a total number of 2.495 million viewers on Sunday, March 30, 2025.
