Actors Sandra Oh And Ke Huy Quan Will Be Honored At The Gold House Gala
On May 6, 2023, Academy Award winner Ke Huy Quan and actor-producer Sandra Oh will be recognized at the second annual Gold House Gala. Quan will be given the Leading Man Award, and Oh will be given the SeeHer Award.
The SeeHer Award honors artists who advocate for gender equality, represent characters authentically, break stereotypes, and push limits in front of and behind the camera. The actors and filmmakers of A24's Oscar-winning Everything Everywhere All at Once will also be honored with the Gold Icon Award, which recognizes the film's transformative contributions to the Asian Pacific community. The prize will be accepted by Quan, Stephanie Hsu, Harry Shum Jr., and producer Jonathan Wang.
The Gold House Gala celebrates through the nation’s most-recognized Asian Pacific award—the A100. The A100 List honors the 100 Asians and Pacific Islanders (APIs) who had the most impact on culture and society over the past year. The event features a Gold Carpet with the press, interactive experiences, groundbreaking announcements, and a curated guest list with of over 700 multicultural luminaries and thought leaders.
Daniel Dae Kim, the Joy Ride cast, and Tan France have been announced as the night's presenters. The event will take place at the Music Center's Jerry Moss Plaza in Downtown Los Angeles. The Gold House Gala is recognized as a celebration of AAPI excellence and history, honoring the company's A100 list's most influential Asians.
