80th Annual Golden Globe Awards Nominees

The 80th Annual Golden Globes Awards which is chosen by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) was announced on December 12, 2022. Top nominees include Everything Everywhere All at Once which has topped the list of film nominees earning six nominations, and Abbott Elementary topped the list of television nominees earning five nominations. In addition, the blockbuster films Avatar: The Way of Water and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever earned two nominations and the TV series The Bear and Wednesday earned two nominations.

The racial and ethnic breakdown of POC nominees includes:

  • African American/Black: 10 nominations

  • Asian/Asian American & Pacific Islander: 10 nominations

  • Hispanic/Latino: 7 nominations

  • Middle Eastern: 0 nomination

  • Native American: 0 nominations

  • Very Diverse Cast: 5 nominations

The 80th Annual Golden Globes Awards will be presented on January 10, 2023, at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California. The ceremony will air live on NBC and be streamed on Peacock.
