The Box: Netflix Releases First Nigerian Series ‘Blood Sisters’; Hit Wattpad Series ‘Kiss Master’ Given 8-episode Adaptation; Spanish Thriller ‘Welcome To Eden’ Green Lit For New Season

Africa: Netflix has released its first show from Nigeria titled Blood Sisters. The series follows the dark details of domestic abuse in close-knit households. The cast includes Kate Henshaw (Stronger Than Pain), Nancy Isime (Hire A Man), and Ini Dima-Okojie (Namaste Wahala). The entire first season is available on Netflix now.  

The trailer has been released for the upcoming horror series titled Pulse. The show will follow video game creators that fall prey to a deadly world of their own construction. Thapelo Mokoena (Mrs. Right Guy) will play the lead as a video game producer alongside Tarryn Wyngaard (Call Me Thief) who plays the creator of a hit video game. The series will be released on June 26th on Showmax.  

Asia: Netflix has dropped the trailer for Money Heist Korea. The Korean spin will adapt the famous series as a man known as the professor gathers a group to steal a large sum of money. The Professor will be portrayed by Yoo Ji-tae (Oldboy). The series will be streaming on June 23rd. 

Hit Wattpad series Kiss Master from the Philippines will be adapted into an 8-episode series. Over 7 million people on Wattpad have viewed the steamy romantic fiction. The story follows Susie, a heartbroken girl that crosses paths with her old flame, Arkhangel Wolfgang, years after they fell out. Kaori Oinuma (Love At First Stream) will play Sussie and Kyle Echarri (On The Wings Of Love) will play Arkhangel.

Europe: Welcome To Eden has been greenlit for a second season. The Netflix series from Spain trapped multiple social media influencers on an island under the guise of a life-changing party and put their minds and hearts to the test. The first season was well received and anticipation rises for new episodes. They are currently in preproduction.
