The SABC canceled the show in July unable to finance the continuation of the series. 7de Laan was forced to shut down production for three days over non-payment from the SABC.

The merger between Zee Entertainment Enterprises and Sony‘s Indian TV businesses is delayed. Pyramid Game, created by JQ Lee, directed by Bak So Yeon, and written by Choi Sui, follows a school girl who has to escape being bullied and become a “sniper” to end a violent high school game. The series cast includes Kim Jiyeon, Jang Da A, Ryu Da In, Kang Na Eon, Jeong Ha Dam, Shin Seul Ki, and Yulli.A
A+E Networks will release A Good Day to Be a Dog a fantasy romantic comedy. The series is adapted by screenwriter Baek In Ah from a webtoon written initially by Lee Hye. The story revolves around a woman who turns into a dog at midnight after she kisses someone and to break the curse she needs to be kissed by the same person in her dog form.
