Media Stats: ‘RHOP’ Viewership Hit Season High, ‘RuPaul's Drag’ Season 16 Ends With High Ratings

Docusoap: For the month of April, We TV’s hit series Love After Lockup reached a new low since November 2022. For its April 12th episode it reached only 128,000 viewers. Despite this, it is rising to We TV’s No. 1 most-watched show. Likewise, MTV’s Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta hit its lowest viewership since last June, with only 303,000 viewers on April 16th. OWN's Love & Marriage: D.C. continued to gain viewers in April, with its third season ending on April 27th with 230,000 viewers. Both the Detroit series and the Huntsville series will return with new seasons in May. On Bravo, The Real Housewives of Potomac aired its final two reunion episodes this month. The season ended on April 14th, with the part-two reunion episode breaking the season high record with 818,000 viewers. Meanwhile, Summer House: Martha's Vineyard is the No. 7 most popular show on the network. It hit a record low of 220,000 viewers in its fifth episode, “The Worst Kept Secret.”

Contestant: In April, ABC's No. 2 ranked program, American Idol, held steady at around 4 million monthly viewers despite ups and downs. NBC's Password dropped from 2.962 million viewers on March 26th to 1.879 million on April 5th, its monthly viewership fluctuating throughout. On MTV, season 16 of RuPaul's Drag Race came to a close on April 19th. It saw strong growth in its monthly viewership, with the finale accumulating 708,000 viewers, the same as the premiere in January. On April 3rd, Survivor, CBS’s No. 14 ranked show, hit its highest viewership of the year  with 5.047 million viewers. The viewership of Bravo’s Top Chef continues to grow, and it is currently ranked fifth on the network. As of April 24th, the show averaged 540,000 viewers. The Voice’s ratings fluctuated wildly in April. It is currently NBC’s No. 8 most popular program.

Court: According to the Nielsen National Syndication Service on April 2nd, CMV's Hot Bench had a 1.1 household rating, down 8% from last week. Meanwhile, Fox First Run's Divorce Court was unchanged with a 0.5 household rating.
