Media Stats: ‘L&M:D.C.’ Slumps In Viewership, ‘RuPaul's Drag Race’ Remains MTV’s Top Show
Docusoap: For March, Love After Lockup dropped from We TV’s No. 2 ranked series to No. 3. As a whole, the program hit new viewership lows, all below 200,000 viewers. MTV’s No. 3 most popular show, Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, had its ups and downs in monthly viewership. The episode titled “Blame Canada” hit a year-to-date low of 315,000 viewers. Switching to OWN, the popular series Love & Marriage: D.C. saw a major decline in viewership. The program accumulated a low level of 152,000 viewers on its March 30th episode On Bravo, Married to Medicine: Atlanta reached a high of 683,000 viewers for part one of its reunion. One of the network's more popular series, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills aired the remaining two parts of its reunion in March, ending up with 1.056 million viewers. Meanwhile, The Real Housewives of Miami averaged 334,000 viewers, with the third part of the reunion airing on March 7th. The Real Housewives of Potomac climbed in viewership, with the first part of the reunion drawing in a whopping 717,000 viewers. Summer House: Martha's Vineyard returned for its second season on March 24th and has continued to see increased viewership. As of March 31st, the program reached 324,000 viewers.
Contestant: ABC’s American Idol saw a dip in viewership in March. However, it remained above 4 million viewers overall. In March, NBC's Password fluctuated in the viewership. Overall, it lands as the No. 15 most-watched show on the network. RuPaul's Drag Race held onto the top spot on MTV. It hit its second-highest viewership of this year, with 632,000 viewers on the first day of March. Despite a drop in viewership for the March 6th episode, the 46th season of Survivor is the 11th most popular show on CBS. Bravo’s Top Chef season 21 premiered on March 20th. Currently, it’s the No. 5 ranked program on the network. Season 25 of The Voice ranked second on NBC, though its viewership fluctuated throughout the month.
Court: Part two of ABC’s Judge Steve Harvey season two wrapped up on March 13th. Its finale reached 1.345 million viewers.
