Console: Xbox’s newest console update is allegedly resetting consoles to factory mode. The update was first rolled out to members of the Xbox Insiders program, who test out features and updates before they are released to all Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S users. A staff member relieved the situation before the rollout, and the update, 2504.250227-2200, already has a fix out, and users are reporting the fix is stopping the factory reset from occurring.
Xbox is reportedly releasing a new console in 2027, and a new handheld console later this year. Microsoft is allegedly working with OEM to create an Xbox handheld console. While Microsoft has not commented, Microsoft Vice President of Next Generation, Jason Ronald told The Verge about the plans to combine Xbox and Windows to create PC gaming handhelds.

Players can disable the Burglar if they desire through the settings.
