2024 Black Girls Rock Awards Honorees

A new taping date for the 2024 Black Girls Rock Awards has been announced. Danielle Brooks is hosting this year’s ceremony, which will be live at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre November 1. It will also air on Lifetime at a later date.

According to a press release, the significance of this year’s ceremony is that it’s coming around the same time as the country’s potential election of its first black female president - Kamala Harris.

Shot Caller Award: Gina Prince-Bythewood

Black Girl Magic Award: Fantasia

Boss Up Award: Aurora James

Living Legend Award: Stephanie Mills

Young, Gifted and Black Award: Maya Penn

Community Change Agent Award: Latham Thomas
