The African American Film Critics Association (AAFCA) TV Awards Winners
The African American Film Critics Association (AAFCA) held the 4th Annual AAFCA Awards on August 20, 2022, to celebrate and recognize outstanding work in the television industry. Abbott Elementary was the big winner taking home two awards.
The AAFCA is the largest organization of Black film reviewers in the world, presenting numerous awards every year for excellence in film and television. The association actively reviews films, with a focus on movies about African Americans. The AAFCA raises awareness for movies that have a broad appeal among Black people and places a strong emphasis on the value of movies created, written, directed, and starring people of African origin.
