The 13th Annual Streamy Awards Moves Up To August

Streamy Awards

The 2023 Streamy Awards, which honor the top creators on the internet, will be held on August 27, 2023, rather than on the regular December date. The ceremony will be held in Los Angeles, like in previous years.

Nominations are now open and will include the new Rolling Stone Sound of the Year category, which honors the song that dominated social media. The full list of nominees will be announced in July. Tubefilter and Dick Clark Productions (DCP), the latter of which is owned by Penske Media Eldridge, a subsidiary of The Hollywood Reporter parent company PMC, produce the Streamy Awards.

Jimmy Donaldson (also known as "MrBeast") will be the creator to beat heading into this year's awards presentation, having won the Top Creator of the Year award for three years in a row. Tana Mongeau, Shane Dawson, and the Dolan Twins have all won the award in the past. Last year's ceremony also named YouTube creator Ryan Trahan the breakout creator of the year, following in the footsteps of D'Amelio, MrBeast, Emma Chamberlain, Liza Koshy, and Bella Poarch.

According to DCP and Tubefilter, the Streamy Awards, which is already in its 13th year, has averaged 6.4 million views since 2020.
