Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner Of ‘Entertainment Tonight’ Will Host The 2023 Palm Springs International Film Awards
Entertainment Tonight’s (ET) Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner will host the Palm Springs International Film Festival Film Awards (PSIFF) gala on January 5, 2023. The Emmy-winning duo will take over emcee duties from former ET anchor Mary Hart. Harold Matzner, the chairman of PSIFF, congratulated Hart for her 18 years of service as the ceremony's host and expressed happiness over a continued collaboration with ET by having ET anchors Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner step in as the new co-hosts.
Frazier and Turner will not only headline the live award presentation that night, but ET will also stream its daily show from the Palm Springs Convention Center. The evening will recognize prominent contenders like Viola Davis (The Woman King) for the Chairman's Award, Michelle Yeoh (Everything Everywhere All At Once) for the International Star award, and Danielle Deadwyler (Till) for the Breakthrough Performance award.
As host of ET, Kevin Frazier, who has won six Emmy Awards, has conducted interviews with some of the biggest names in Hollywood. When the 34th season premiered in September 2014, Frazier joined the show as a co-host. Nischelle Turner started working for ET in 2014 as a correspondent before becoming a co-host in 2021. Turner is a CNN contributor for entertainment segments on CNN Newsroom, New Day, and CNN Tonight. Turner is a multi-award-winning journalist who has received six Emmy Awards for the program. She currently co-hosts The Big Podcast with Shaq and hosts and produces CBS' summer smash series Secret Celebrity Renovation.
The Palm Springs International Film Festival runs from January 5-16, 2023.
