Hollywood Radio And Television Society To Honor Jesse Williams

Jesse Williams, former Grey’s Anatomy star, will be honored by the Hollywood Radio and Television Society with the inaugural HRTS Change Maker Award during a gala event on December 14. Here, Williams will join the HRTS Board President, HRTS Foundation Board Member and Head of Drama Series at Amazon Studios, ODetta Watkins for a panel discussion about his career and activism.

Williams has recently appeared in Season 3 of Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building along with Paramount’s Secret Headquarters. Additionally, Williams operates a multimedia company named Visibility along with Scholly, a college scholarship app where he is both a company partner and ambassador. He is also on the board of directors for both the Advancement Project and Harry Belafonte’s social justice and arts organization Sankofa.org.

The event will be hosted by Matt Friend and will take place at the Beverly Hilton.
