First Annual TAAF Summit and Celebration Dinner Announced

The annual The Asian American Foundation's Heritage and Month Summit and Celebration dinner has been announced. The event will celebrate pioneers, leaders, and dignitaries within the Asian American and Pacific Islander community.

Some of the entertainment industry honorees at the event are Daniel Dae Kim, Simu Liu, and Michelle Yeoh. They will be celebrated along with leaders across a diverse array of industries.

The TAAF event will have over 500 attendees, and feature two days of panels and roundtable discussions which tie to the event’s 2023 theme “Together We Build.” The many discussions that will take place during the day will focus on the community's efforts to address the rise in hate crimes, underfunding of AAPI communities, and representation gaps in media and leadership.

The TAAF event will take place on May 5 and 6 in New York City.
