Jacqueline Lyanga - Berlinale

The new Berlin Film Festival director Tricia Tuttle has chosen two in-house programmers, Jacqueline Lyanga and Michael Stütz, to be co-directors of film programming in July. This is an additional role for Stütz, who will continue to dedicate himself to new trends and voices in international filmmaking as the head of the Panorama strand.

The new co-directors will work with Tuttle to choose titles for the Competition and Berlinale Special sections, including the Berlinale Special Gala. According to a statement

Tuttle announced a new governance structure for the Berlinale back in April. New executive positions announced include Florian Weghorn as the first chief of staff starting July 1; Tommy Kommer, who will become the director of finance and business operations; and Miriam Reimers as the director of program operations and production.

The 75th edition of the Berlinale will run from Feb. 13-23, 2025.
