39th Annual Imagen Awards

Eugenio Derbez - Alberto Rodriguez

The 39th Annual Imagen Awards took place Sunday, September 8 at the LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes in Los Angeles. A Million Miles Away won big in film with four awards. Sesame Street was the biggest winner in television with two awards. Eugino Derbez was the biggest individual winner. He took home Best Actor in a film for Radicals and best supporting actor in a television series for Acapulco.

• Best Comedy Series: This Fool 

• Best Special or TV Movie: Música

• Best Director-TV: Issa López, True Detective: Night Country 

• Best Actor-Drama: Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, The Lincoln Lawyer 

• Best Actress-Drama: Sofía Vergara, Griselda
