The 12th Annual Streamy Awards (organized by Tubefilter and Dick Clark Productions) returned to in-person attendance this year after going virtual in 2020 and 2021. The Streamy Awards ceremony also included the popular Creator Honors category, added in 2020, which venerated creators whose work resonated with previous recipients. This year’s Creator Honors went to Kane Pixels (from The Game Theorists), Airrack (from FaZe Deestroying), and Ice Cream Sandwich (from Jaiden Animations).
YouTuber Airrack (known in real life as Eric Decker) presented the 12th Streamy Awards on December 4, 2022, at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. A novelty for the Streamys, which previously broadcast from its channel, the show streamed through Airrack's YouTube channel. The best content creators of 2022 received approximately 50 awards and honors during the occasion. The biggest winner, taking home two trophies, was the YouTube channel Cooking With Lynja.

Streamy Creators Honors: Ice Cream Sandwich from Jaiden Animations: It should be no surprise to Jaiden Animations fans that she was honored under the Streamy Awards' Creator Honors. With more than 11.5 million followers, over 2 billion views, and more than a hundred uploads, it wouldn't be an exaggeration to claim that the Jaiden Animations YouTube channel stands out among others that offer the same type of content. A large part of Jaiden's success can be attributed to her unique animation style, the variety of subjects she covers, how she tells her tales, and her active participation in the speedrunning and Pokémon communities through numerous partnerships with other content producers. Many fans credit her videos for staying authentic to her viewers by staying true to her specialized hobbies.
